Since joining HPD in 2020, Ptl. Parafenuk has stood out as a dedicated, self-driven officer who consistently goes above and beyond. A Field Training Officer, General Instructor, and certified Bike Patrol officer, he is a trusted resource for his peers and a strong supporter of our community.
His commitment was on full display when he took the lead on a complex assault investigation, ultimately identifying the suspect and securing felony charges through persistence and attention to detail. Just as impactful was the compassion he showed the victim, helping restore her confidence in the process.
Well respected and always ready to serve, Ptl. Parafenuk is a true asset to HPD and the community. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition.
