North Wales Library Teen Book Club We meet the Wednesday nights for a variety of activities including KNEX building projects, book discussion, video games and movies

The teen book club is seeing a makeover in thanks to a generous grant for Verizon that has allowed us to purchase Nooks loaded with our upcoming books for all members and DVDs as gaming equipment such as a Wii and PS3 console along with games and controllers. If you have any questions or would like to join our book club please stop by the North Wales Library or contact Regina at [email protected]

All high school teens are welcome to come to book discussions, game nights, or both!

Our teen advisory is looking for new members, they will be meeting this Saturday (Nov. 26) at 10am to work on a few projects such as removing the Halloween window paint, making candy ornaments and planning upcoming teen programs. If you are interested in joining the advisory group or just want to come help for the day we'd love to have you! Ask for Lori at the desk.

Tomorrow is our Octo-ween for teens event! Starting at 1 we'll be painting pumpkins and stuffing scarecrows and at 2 we'll be showing "The Skeleton Key" on the big screen (rated PG13). BYO-pumpkin and we'll handle the rest! For ages 12 and up, organized and run by our Teen Advisory Board.

June 22nd at 4 teen author Margo Rabb will be speaking about her newest book "Kissing in America" and the importance of journaling on her writing process. All teen attendees will be making their own journal and the first ten sign ups will get a free hardback copy of the book to be signed that day by Margo; a few copies remain sign up now to claim yours!

Big news! We've been chosen as one of the Montgomery County libraries to host teen author Margo Rabb this summer! Margo is the author of the best seller "Kissing in America" and will be visiting June 22nd at 4pm to discuss journals. Journal keeping is very important in her book as well as to Margo for her writing process as she'll explain. Attendees interested in becoming writers themselves will have a chance to ask questions about the creative process and make their own journal with Margo's simple process.

Our first ten registrants will receive a FREE copy of "Kissing in America" to have signed by Margo that day. Registration is limited and required so sign up asap!
