Having a life-long love and compassion for children and having mentored, fostered and adopted children of her own, Valerie formed “Being Beautiful Foundation” as a platform to help disadvantaged children. Children in foster care require safe, stable, and nurturing environments to live until they can either safely reunite with their parents or establish other life-long family relationships. The Be
ing Beautiful Foundation was formed by Valerie Crabbe. Valerie is a mother of three who spent most of her adult life sacrificing for her own children. After successfully raising her children, Valerie opened her home to take in other children who were less fortunate providing a safe, stable and nurturing environment for them to grow, learn and develop. Over the past 10 years, Valerie and her husband filled their own home to capacity fostering many children and adopting two of them as their own daughters, Angela Tausenfreundt-Harris who is now age 16 and Audelia Elise Crabbe now age 10. Angela is now is High school and is an honor roll student at North Penn High and aspiring to study nursing to become a full time Registered Nurse one day. Audelia is still in middle school and has developed into a wonderful caring loving young lady and just enjoys spending time with Mom and doing things like watching movies, making jewelry, reading books together and just having fun. Through patience, love and caring, both Angela & Audelia’s lives took a totally different course from what the future might have very welled looked liked for them before being adopted. Today they are both happy-well balanced, loving and caring kids.
“Being a part of the amazing transformation in the life of a child is the most fulfilling experience that life has to offer.”
