We would like to give a huge thank you to Final Touch Quality Landscaping, Lawn Care, Tree Service & Fiberglass Pools for donating their time with their chipper to help us chip some trees at our training grounds!!

Sunday was a busy day for the 42 company! We started out the morning setting up for our breakfast fundraiser which was another success! A little after doors opened, Station 42 was alerted to Coplay Borough for an odor of gas inside a building. Crews arrived to a heavy odor of gas inside of the building and started ventilation and shut off the gas inside of the kitchen.

After returning from the Gas Leak, everything turned to normal for about an hour at the breakfast until a 2nd alarm brush fire on the Appalachian Trail was toned out. 4243, 4247 along with 2 members from the forestry crew responded and spent about 13 hours working to contain the fire.

The crews back home responded to another gas leak and a fire alarm both in Coplay Borough. The day ended with a total of 4 calls!
