Our thoughts are with Ron’s family, the Auburn MA Police Department and the Leicester Police Department on the tenth anniversary of his line of duty death.

10 years ago today, life changed in a way we never would have expected. We knew the dangers police officers face, but you don’t ever expect the worst to happen until it did. Ron was taken from us far too soon, while he was doing a job he loved and worked so hard for. It seems almost impossible that 10 years have gone by already. To say he is missed tremendously would be an understatement.
It is important to us to continue the legacy he left behind and live the way he would want and the way that he would - with love, humor, compassion and by giving back.
Through the Officer Ronald Tarentino, Jr. Charitable Fund, we have been able to continue his story and his work of giving a helping hand, thanks to all of the continued support.
We cannot stress enough how incredibly grateful we are for the ways in which our communities still show up and honor Ron and support his legacy, our mission, and our family. Whether you’re new here or have been on this journey with us from the beginning, we THANK YOU.
In honor of Ron, we only ask for you to share your kindness with those around you, you never know who will need it💙

With love and gratitude,

The Tarentino Family
and the Officer Ronald Tarentino, Jr. Charitable Fund Board
