nd caring environment where all children benefit from a commitment to excellence.โ€ Our goal is to provide students with a strong academic and social-emotional foundation, as well as an appreciation for the value of learning and of helping others. Our students consistently score well above average on local and state assessments, and we are always looking to improve, whether we are implementing a comprehensive literacy initiative, updating our social studies curriculum to emphasize thematic critical thinking, or offering our students the opportunity to learn a world language starting in first grade. At the August 25 Board of Education meeting, district leaders shared updated schematic design renderings of the new cafeteria addition at NBJH, one of the major projects to be completed as part of the district's $94.9 million Build 28 initiative.
