Annual Chanukah Party and Menorah Lighting at Misericordia hosted by Chitim of Greater Chicago.

Many residents gathered together with their families to celebrate Chanukah. We lit the Menorah, played fun Chanukah dreidel-bingo game, and enjoyed live music by Binyomin Herst. The room was filled with smiles and joy, as we sang and brought the Chanukah message to life. Thank you for the delicious dinner.

Ah…Sukkos!
A highlight of our Sukkos holiday is visiting with Misericordia residence at our annual celebration. This year we had special help from the Keshet Disabilities & Inclusion Gadol participants who volunteered to bring the holiday joy! Together we sang, danced, and learned about Sukkos. Everyone had a chance to eat a snack in the wheelchair accessible sukkah mobile! Thank you to all who made it happen!

There are so many things to learn from our dear friend, Halyse. One of the many lessons that she taught us was doing things 100%. To literally be totally invested especially when helping others. An example of that can be seen here in a 2010 Northbrook television interview.
