New polling from Data for Progress shows voters are already paying close attention as the 2026 midterms approach — with the economy, Social Security and Medicare, democracy, and health care ranking among the top issues on voters’ minds.

The takeaway: the midterms are coming fast, and the voters who show up will shape what comes next.

Check your registration, make your voting plan, and talk to your friends and family about what’s at stake.

Despite an uncertain redistricting landscape, Democrats enter the 2026 midterm cycle with meaningful advantages in public opinion.

Voting rights are changing fast — and the impact is already showing up across the country.

After the Supreme Court’s Callais v. Louisiana decision, courts are reconsidering active Voting Rights Act cases, and state officials are using the ruling to challenge protections for minority voters.

For PTP, this is exactly why voter outreach matters: when the rules keep shifting, voters need clear, reliable information about what’s on the ballot, how to vote, and what’s at stake.
