Glenkirk Like all of us, people with intellectual disabilities want control over their own lives and to be able to make their own choices.

Glenkirk offers individuals and families a broad menu of services and supports from which to choose. We will work with you and your family to build an individualized program focused squarely on your unique interests, abilities and desires. What an incredible day! 🎉

Yesterday, we proudly celebrated the ribbon-cutting of Glenkirk's new headquarters! A milestone made possible through years of dedication, generosity, and community support.

We were honored to present State Senator Julie Morrison with our Impact Award in recognition of her unwavering support and advocacy. Her efforts in securing critical grant funding helped make this move possible, and we are deeply grateful for her partnership.

The celebration also included the unveiling of the Eileen Bennin Memorial Garden, created in honor of a fierce advocate, devoted mother, and cherished friend of Glenkirk. Eileen's legacy of compassion and commitment to our mission will continue to inspire all who visit this special space.

To everyone who joined us, supported us, advocated for us, and believed in this vision, thank you! A very special thank you to the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, The Arc of Illinois, Northfield Township Illinois, Village of Northbrook, Illinois, and State Representative Tracy Katz Muhl for your support of this occasion. This new home represents more than a building; it represents opportunity, inclusion, and a brighter future for the individuals and families we serve.

We are excited for all that lies ahead as we continue to grow, strengthen our programs, and build better futures together. 💙
