Movie in the Park – September 12!

Grab your family, friends, blankets, and lawn chairs for an evening of outdoor fun at Northfield Center Township’s Movie in the Park on Saturday, September 12 at Beacon Hills Park!

This year’s featured movie is Penguins of Madagascar! The event begins at 6:00 PM, giving everyone plenty of time to find a spot, enjoy refreshments, and spend time with neighbors before the movie begins at dusk.

Northfield Center Township is beginning the public engagement process for an update to the Township’s 1998 Comprehensive Plan. This important planning effort will help guide future policies, development, and community priorities as Northfield Center continues to grow and evolve.

Your input matters! Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas by completing the Comprehensive Plan Update Community Survey and attending public meetings throughout the planning process. Your feedback will help the Township better understand community needs and priorities and shape a vision for Northfield Center’s future.

Residents can complete the survey by scanning the QR code and submitting it online, or by clicking link below. They can also print the survey. Surveys may be completed and returned by email or mail.

2026 Summit County Property Reappraisal Information

The Summit County Fiscal Office has completed the 2026 Sexennial Reappraisal, a state-required process that updates the value of all real property every six years to reflect current fair market value.

Value Change Notices will be mailed to property owners in late July 2026. If your property’s appraised value has not changed, you will not receive a notice.

Northfield Center Township would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday for our America 250 Celebration at the Gazebo at Old Town Hall! The event was a tremendous success, bringing together residents, families, and visitors for an evening of patriotic music, local history, and community fellowship. Huge thanks to the great team at the Palmer House Museum for your participation.
