The MSIIIs were out in full force today, putting in the work to ensure they’re ready for Advanced Camp this summer. They went over Call for Fire with , followed by OPORD briefings. We rounded out the training with hand gr***de practice and emplacing a claymore. It was a high-tempo day of training that proved this class is ready to lead from the front.

Norwich University AROTC didn’t just show up, they dominated.

Huge shoutout to our teams for a legendary performance at the Bataan Memorial Death March in New Mexico. This year’s competition was shortened from a full 26.2 mile marathon to a 15.6 mile honorary route due to extreme heat and limited medical resources. Our Alpha team came in at a time of 3:10.59.

• A Team: 1st Place
• B Team: 2nd Place

For the first time our Alpha team is solely AROTC, Including the following cadets:
Moise, Munn, Dixson, G*i, and Clarke.
Bravo Team was a mixture of NROTC, AROTC and PLC, including cadets:
Morin, Perez, Hammons, St.Germaine, and Dugan.

All teams rucked through the heat to honor the 75,000 heroes of 1942. Our Alpha and Bravo team demonstrated cohesion and strategic discipline, allowing them to outmaneuver five United States Military Academy teams. This mental dominance, combined with preparation and unity, allowed us to overcome all other teams.

Those who contributed had Cadet Aly Jaspe in mind and heart, who we recently lost in a battle with cancer. Her memory was motivation to keep on moving. She embodied the Norwich spirit until the very end, and we bring that spirit across the finish line for her.

Last weekends FTX was a major success.

Our MSIII’s gained critical hands-on experience in STX lanes, marksmanship, and land navigation, directly mirroring the rigors they will face at Advanced Camp this summer. By leading under pressure and executing tactical missions, these cadets have built the muscle memory necessary to excel at Fort Knox.

The grit displayed in the field proves our juniors are prepared to dominate their camp evaluations and represent Norwich AROTC with pride.

Norwich AROTC takes 1st place.

Last week, our Norwich AROTC cadets proved their dominance at Fort Drum, NY, by placing 1st in the D-Series Competition.

Hosted by the 10th Mountain Division, this event is a gauntlet of alpine warfare, including shooting on skis, mountain rappelling, and a 10-mile ahkio pull. In a true display of grit and tactical superioritiy, our team didn’t just win, they outclassed the field, finishing a full 10 minutes ahead of West Point, who took second place.

This victory is a testament to the relentless discipline and resilience that defines the Norwich AROTC program. By mastering the same brutal conditions that forged the 10th Mountain Division, these cadets showed exactly what it means to lead from the front. We are incredibly proud of their performance and their commitment to excellence under pressure.
