On Saturday, our very own CDT Nathaniel Paquin participated in the Bataan Death March (a 26.2-mile race) in New Mexico as a part of the Norwich University A team. The team won the Team ROTC Heavy Division and came third overall. Congratulations to NU Bataan Death March team, and way to lead the way CDT Paquin!

The Bataan Death March is held annually in remembrance of a group of heroic individuals that were captured in the Philippines on April 9, 1942, at the start of World War 2. They were forced to march a grueling 65 miles through rough terrain and scorching heat. Thousands of Americans perished along the route and in POW camps.
