The Northfield Senior Center is in serious need of volunteers. Each position is about 2 hours one day a week. We will train anyone interested in shadowing.

The kitchen help starts about 8:00 am. The Meals on Wheels drivers start around 10:15.
Beginning October 1st, we have two slots open on Wednesdays, 8:00-10:00 a.m.
We also need substitute drivers and substitute kitchen volunteers who can fill in as needed.

The Northfield Senior Center Board of Directors has been reviewing the bylaws and some amendments will be voted on during the annual meeting on Tuesday, October 27. We invite those community members who are interested to come hear what we have been doing and where we are going in the future. Attendence at the luncheon preceeding the meeting is not necessary. More information about reserving a place for the luncheon will be posted in early October.

It is a 3 day, 2 night trip for $465 per person.
We are looking to book 3 weekdays in August. Exact dates to be determined.
We need a minimum of 35 people in order to book this trip.

* Transportation in a top-quality motorcoach with at least 54 seats that is restroom and video equipped
* 2 nights lodging in Vermont *4 meals including: 2 Breakfasts and 2 Dinners
* Tour of Goodrich's Maple Farm
* Dinner Cruise on Beautiful Lake Champlain with Entertainment
* Admission to Shelburne Museum
* Visit to Cold Hollow Cider Mill

The members and board of the Greater Northfield Senior Center wish to THANK our community for their participation and support for our first ever Chicken BBQ Fundraiser! We will be offering them on the first Friday of the month during June, July, August and September.
We also truly appreciate the continued support our community shows to the Center for our Quarterly Tag and Bake Sale Fundraisers! We had a very successful weekend and look forward to seeing everyone in September during the Labor Day festivities.
