Massachusetts Republican Party launches anti-censorship petition campaign

The Massachusetts Republican Party unveiled an anti-censorship petition on Tuesday that Chairman Jim Lyons said is long overdue.

The MassGOP's pro-First Amendment "Free Speech Has a Home Here" campaign is now underway, bolstered by last month's Massachusetts Republican State Committee vote backing a resolution opposing censorship.

Republican State Committeeman Jay Fleitman, who along with Republican State Committeewoman Mary Lou Stuart introduced the resolution, said the campaign will feature signs, bumper stickers, and organized stand-outs to raise awareness.

"Big Tech has done everything from shutting down access to alternative social media sites to outright censoring factual news reports critical of their preferred presidential candidate," Fleitman said. "The fact that this is going on in the online public square, with the tacit approval of Congress, should alarm everyone, regardless of political affiliation."

Will Massachusetts Democrats cave to radical "defund the police" demands?

The movement on the left to "defund the police" will have the opposite effect when it comes to halting violence in our cities, Massachusetts Republican Party Chairman Jim Lyons said Monday.

Lyons said he watched video over the weekend showing Minneapolis Democrat Mayor Jacob Frey's attempt to reason with protesters, only to be shouted down and subsequently shunned. The Minneapolis City Council later pledged to "dismantle" the city's police department.

The question now is whether Massachusetts Democrats will cave to the same radical demands.

"The number-one reason why we haven't seen a repeat of the violence that happened here last Sunday night in Boston is because of an increased presence of law-and-order," Massachusetts Republican Party Chairman Jim Lyons said.

"Radical leftists have no interest in working with police to enact reforms," said Lyons. "Their goal is to abolish police departments wholesale, as we've found out in Minneapolis.

"Criticize or question any absurd demand, and they will instantly try to smear you as a racist. That's how these left-wing groups operate."

Added Lyons:

"The Massachusetts Republican Party supports the right to peacefully assemble, and at the same time recognizes Massachusetts police departments are crucial to maintaining peace and order."

Democrats Want To Eliminate Roll Call Votes!

Under the guise of "emergency" rules for the coronavirus and remote sessions of the House of Representatives, the socialist Democrats on Beacon Hill attempted to all but eliminate roll call votes.

But because of steadfast allies like Rep. Marc Lombardo, the Democrat leadership appears to have retreated!

Roll call votes are the only way we can hold legislators accountable because it puts them on record as to how they voted on important legislation such as our Six Deadly Bills.

Amid all of stress of the coronavirus, the Coalition has stayed focused like a laser on the Six Deadly Bills:
Roe Infanticide Act: eliminates parental consent for girls seeking an abortion; allows abortion on demand up to birth; eliminates protections for women; and eliminates protections for babies born alive during botched abortions;
University Abortion Mill bill: provides up to $400,000 to each public college and university to provide on-campus abortions; forces tuition and fees to be used for abortions;
Driver’s Licenses for Illegal Aliens bill: allows the MA Registry of Motor Vehicles to issue driver's licenses to illegal aliens, which has been proven to result in increased threats to the public safety, as well as identity theft and fraud;
Sanctuary State bill: prohibits police from coordinating with federal authorities to remove dangerous criminal illegal aliens from our streets;
Mandated S*x Education bill: mandates centralized, Planned Parenthood-run, "comprehensive" s*x education in every public school in the Commonwealth;
Physician Assisted Su***de bill: allows doctors to prescribe deadly doses of drugs to patients who may be under duress or suffering from depression.

Add to these, the Criminal Release bill (HB 4652), Taxpayer Giveaway to Illegal Aliens bill (HB 4634), and the Voter Fraud bill (Vote By Mail HD 5026). The leftists have lots to hide from!

Of the Six Deadly Bills, The Mandated S*x Ed bill has passed in the Senate; the Abortion Mill Bill and Driver's Licenses for Illegal Aliens have been released with favorable reports.
