Today, the Northfield Village Fire Department honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a time to reflect on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who gave their lives defending the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We ask our community to join us in remembering our fallen heroes and keeping their families in your thoughts today.

Ok! Here's the post you all have been waiting for. The Santa in the Village Routes! After taking an long hard look at Santa's inventory it has been decided that we will be starting on the EAST side of town this year! This route will begin at 10am. That means the WEST side of town will be in the afternoon.

We also have worked it out with some special elves to have access to the GPS in Santa's sleigh so that you can follow along during the event to see where Santa's Sleigh is. There are two links, one for the EAST and one for the WEST. We will post those tomorrow about 5-10 min before heading out on the different sides of town.

The pictures below show the routes that will be taken on both sides of town. As we have said in the past, we wont be going down every street in the village.
