The mission of The Smithtown Senior Citizens Department is to facilitate the social, emotional, and physical well-being for independent senior citizens within the Township of Smithtown. The quality of life for seniors is greatly improved by providing services, activities and access to community resources that maintain senior citizen independence and wellness.

Our hope is that our Senior Center will be filled with many happy hours, cultivating new interests, fond memories, and new friendships. The Center is open to Smithtown residents 60 years of age and older. Hours of operation are as follows:

Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

NOTE:Summer Hours, July 1 through August 31, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
