Please be advised that the Northumberland Borough Council will discuss the proposed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) 287(g) Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the upcoming August council meeting.

The 287(g) program is a federal initiative that allows local law enforcement agencies to partner with ICE, delegating specific immigration enforcement authority to designated local officers.

To ensure residents are fully informed, the complete and official MOA document is available for review prior to the meeting. You can download and read the full agreement on the Borough’s website at https://www.norrypa.org/under-consideration
