We also share posts from other organizations that may be of interest to the community. The city’s official website www.ci.northville.mi.us is the “go-to” source for information; however fast-changing information may be more current on our social media pages. When in doubt about which content is the most current, send us a message via social media and we will respond as soon as possible. Social media is a 24/7 medium, however the city’s staff cannot monitor the sites round-the-clock. We may not see every inappropriate comment right away. You may receive a voter registration application or absentee ballot application in the mail from your clerk, a political party, a campaign, or a nonpartisan organization. Third party organizations are legally allowed to send out voter registration applications and absentee ballot applications. If you receive applications from a third party, you can either complete it and return it to the City Clerk’s office or simply throw it away. Voters can always check their voter registration status or request an absentee ballot from the City Clerk’s office or at Michigan.gov/vote.
