Northampton Ambulance is part of the mutual aid plan in Fulton County where our crews are occasionally called to other areas of the county when all other agencies are out on calls.

A special thank you to the Northville Rotary who, once again, provided a donation to the Northampton Volunteer Ambulance Association (a nonproft 501(c)(3) charitable organization).

Earlier this year, the Rotary provided the Ambulance Association with a separate donation, which funded the equipment for our Chevrolet Tahoe fly car (also pictured below).

Woah, what a weekend! The July 4th holiday is typically our busiest time period and this year was no different. Our community welcomed people from all over the United States who were in town to celebrate America's 250th anniversary. Between calls, our crews were able to provide stand by coverage during the Friday night fireworks and participate in the parade on Saturday.

Never forgotten. 💙🤍

Today we pause to remember Police Officer Robert J. “Bobby” Johnson, a retired member of the Gloversville Police Department and the Gloversville PBA.

Bobby served the City of Gloversville for 20 years before retiring in 2006, and dedicated more than 33 years of his life to law enforcement. His service continued with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and the Village of Northville Police Department.

On July 3, 2017, Bobby lost his life in the line of duty after stopping to assist at the scene of a crash on State Highway 30 in Northampton.

Bobby is remembered not only for his years of service, but for the example he set and the impact he had on younger officers throughout our area.

Today, and always, we honor his service, his sacrifice, and his memory.

Rest easy, Bobby.

This weekend is our community Doins festival, along with fireworks and the 4th of July parade. Please use caution in and around the village as we expect heavy traffic and large crowds.

Emergency communications are a major concern throughout the Adirondacks, and it is no different here in Northville and Northampton. We appreciate the upgrade to our system!

We utilize LifeNet on critical and time sensitive medical emergencies to ensure prompt advanced care and transport to speciality care hospitals.
