🎃 Second Annual Northwood Trunk-or-Treat! 👻
Last year’s Trunk-or-Treat was a wonderful success, and we were thrilled by the positive response from our community! We’re excited to bring this fun Northwood tradition back for another evening filled with Halloween treats, costumes, creativity, and community spirit.
🚗 Trunk, tailgate or table required to participate
To participate, you’ll need:
A vehicle with a trunk, tailgate, hatchback, or similar setup
Candy, small toys, or trinkets to hand out
A willingness to have Halloween fun! 🎃
Decorating is completely optional. If elaborate decorating isn’t your thing, that’s perfectly okay! You are welcome to bring your vehicle, set up your treats, and enjoy the event.
If you are attending with young children, you are also welcome to leave your trunk and walk around with your family. Just be sure your trunk is stocked with candy, trinkets, or treats and ready before heading out.
If you happen to run low on candy during the event, please check in with Recreation Staff. We will have extra candy available to help trunks keep the fun going.
🍬 How Trunk-or-Treat Works
Trunk-or-Treaters will visit participating vehicles to collect candy, toys, and trinkets.
Families, friends, local organizations, and community groups are all welcome to participate as a trunk!
Want to get creative? Decorate your vehicle and show off your Halloween spirit! We’ll be awarding three prizes for our favorite trunks:
🏆 Best Trunk
🎨 Most Creative
👻 Best Interactive
📝 Registration
Registration is FREE!
Participation is open to Northwood residents only.
Registration is by vehicle/trunk, not by individual attendee.
Only one family member needs to register each participating vehicle. Please do not submit multiple registrations for the same vehicle.
Each participating trunk should plan to provide its own candy, toys, or trinkets. If you need assistance with candy, please let the Recreation Department know, we’re happy to help when possible.
