🏒 Norton Student-Athletes Bring Home a Championship 🏆

On March 15th, the Norton/Sharon Co-op Middle School Hockey Team won the Foxboro Sports Center League Championship with a 3–0 victory over King Philip.

The Select Board Alec Rich III, Roger Marsan, Robert Kimball, Denise Luciano, and Kevin O'Neil, Town Manager Mark Gould, and State Representatives Steven Howitt and Michael Chaisson were on hand last week to congratulate the team.

This co-ed team, made up of student-athletes from Norton and surrounding communities, put together an outstanding season built on teamwork, effort, and discipline.

It was great to recognize these players at the Select Board meeting and celebrate their achievement with the community.

👏 Thank you to Head Coach Kevin Schleicher Jr., and coaches Tony Raby and Chris Poliseno for their leadership and commitment.

Today Norton showed up for Norton. 💜 The Norton Cupboard of Kindness, joined by members of the Norton Police Department, the Norton Veterans Council, and many community volunteers, helped distribute 50 turkeys and a tremendous amount of donated food to local families in need.

We were grateful to see Select Board Chair Alec Rich, and Select Board Members Roger Marsan, and Robert Kimball lending a hand alongside NPD, volunteers and community partners. This was a powerful reminder that when we come together, Norton takes care of Norton.

Thank you to every resident, business, and organization that stepped forward. A special thanks to Goat City Pub, Marsan's Upholstery, & The C2 Foundation, and all those who contributed food, time, and resources to make this possible.

To everyone who donated, packed, carried, greeted neighbors, or drove home smiling — thank you. This is what community looks like. 🦃💛

Registration is now open! Deadline to register is Oct. 10th.

We stopped by the town hall today with some treats from Tasty's for our election volunteers.... Norton is extremely lucky to have such a dedicated group of hard-working people!
