Flag Day Invitation 🇺🇸

Lake Erie Shores Blue Star Mothers is honored to share an invitation from our friends at Norwalk American Legion Post 41.

On Flag Day, June 14, 2026, Norwalk American Legion Post 41 will host a Flag Retirement Ceremony at 5:00 PM (17:00).

This meaningful ceremony provides an opportunity to respectfully retire worn and unserviceable American flags while honoring the symbol that represents our nation's freedom and those who have defended it.

From the Auxillary:

unfortunately we had to cancel 1 bus, not enough signed up for 2 busses. We are now at full capacity. All who are paid are going. if we had a contact number you were notified. for everyone coming the casino will be giving you a 20 dollar voucher to gamble with, club is providing beer, pop water on the bus. feel free to bring anything else you would like as long as no glass bottles. We will have coffee and donuts before heading out at 8am. bus will leave at 9am sharp! we will also have food upon return at the club. we should arrive back in Norwalk around 730pm

Open to all post members and the public! If you're interested, you may want to come in and sign up soon, tickets are selling out quickly!

Dinner plans? How about some burgers and hot dogs on the grill?? Served with baked beans, loaded potato salad, corn on the cob, chips, and a brownie for dessert! Serving from 5-8!

Thank you to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. As we remember the courage of those who didn't make it home, Veterans will receive one free drink today to pay tribute to our lost comrades.
