"I am grateful for everything I have learned and excited to not only continue to learn, but to teach third and fourth graders these skills so the production team can continue to grow."🎙️

Yesterday at our MSA School Kick-Off, 5th grader Sebastian Laureano took the stage to address educators from Kendall, Ponus Ridge STEAM Academy, and P-TECH. He shared the real-world impact of Project-Based Learning (PBL) and grant-funded experiences, giving a big shout-out to music teacher Ms. Nida and his work with her on the KCCA News team.

We are so proud of Sebastian for inspiring us all with his story! Moments like this remind us why hands-on, student-led learning matters so much. Here’s to an amazing school year ahead! 👏✨

On Monday, we accepted a generous donation from the Sons and Daughters of Italy Pietra Micca Lodge.

The $1,000 Early Initiative Grant will strengthen Kendall’s ability to provide targeted, tiered intervention support for students in grades K–2, ensuring that young learners receive the additional instruction and resources they need during these essential early years.

By identifying and addressing learning needs early, Kendall aims to close achievement gaps, build strong foundational literacy skills, and ensure that all students are better prepared to access and succeed with grade-level curriculum.
