Most buildings don’t get a second comeback. This one does. 🧱

On November 6, 1924, fire gutted the Norwalk Creamery. Just weeks later, it was open again.
Built in 1902. Opened in 1903. Survived the fire. Served generations of local families. Worked until 1992.

Now, more than a century after its story began, this Wisconsin landmark is coming back to life—one brick, one memory, and one new chapter at a time.

Every step forward at The Creamery has been made possible by people who believe in what this place can become. If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to support the restoration—and own a piece of the story—we now have two special ways to help us keep pushing this dream forward.

👕 **Creamery T-shirts — $20**
These unisex shirts are available in sizes Small through 2XL. Shipping is $5, or you can pick up your shirt in Norwalk.

🧱 **Memorial Smokestack Bricks — $50**
Each authentic brick from the historic Creamery smokestack includes a customizable nameplate and will be displayed inside the Tavern once it opens. Dedicate one to someone you love—living or remembered—and let their name become part of the Creamery’s next chapter.

This is more than merchandise. Every shirt worn and every brick dedicated helps us continue restoring this landmark, honoring its history, and working toward the day when we can open the doors and welcome everyone inside.

💙 You can pay through Venmo: **** (At The Creamery, LLC). Please message us to arrange your order and share your shirt size or custom nameplate wording. For shirts, let us know whether you’d like shipping or pickup in Norwalk.

And even if you aren’t able to purchase right now, SHARING this post truly helps more than you know. Thank you for believing in The Creamery and helping us build the dream. ❤️

It doesn’t look like much… yet. 👀

Right now, the Boiler Room at The Creamery is dusty, rough, unfinished and honestly a little chaotic.

But in 2027, this space will look VERY different. 🍻

We’re turning this old industrial room into a one-of-a-kind tavern — while keeping as much of the original character, brick, history and Creamery feel as we can.

And someday, we’re going to look back at these pictures and barely believe this is where it started.

So here’s the question:

If YOU were designing this tavern, what’s one thing you’d absolutely want us to put in here?

A huge bar?
Fireplace?
Live music?
Old Creamery memorabilia?
Pool table?
Something completely different?

👇 Tell us in the comments. We’re actually listening.

And tag somebody you’re having the first drink here with when the Boiler Room opens in 2027. 🍺

Save these “before” pictures… the transformation is going to be wild.

Big changes happening out front at The Creamery. 🌲➡️🏛️

One of the three old pines came down as we continue cleaning up the property, opening up the view of the building, and getting the site ready for what’s ahead.

We know people get attached to the look of a place, so every change is being made with the bigger picture in mind, preserving the character of The Creamery while preparing it for its next chapter.

And trust us… there’s a LOT more coming.

We seriously can’t wait to start sharing more of the plans, progress, and surprises right here on this page. 👀

DAY 47. ❤️🏚️➡️🍻

47 days ago, we took a chance on a nearly forgotten 1902 Creamery in Norwalk, Wisconsin.

When we first walked through the doors, it was overwhelming. Decades of debris, deteriorating brick, old pipes everywhere, damaged areas, a dangerous smokestack, drainage problems… and a building that needed attention almost everywhere you looked.

But we could also see what it could be.

Sometimes when you're in the middle of a project this big, it feels like you're barely making progress.

Then you stop and look back.

Here’s what we’ve accomplished in just 47 DAYS:

✅ Purchased the historic 1902 Creamery

✅ Hauled out 5 dumpsters worth of debris

✅ Received our liquor license

✅ Cleaned out decades of abandoned material

✅ Removed 1 garage bay and fixed drainage

✅ Began brick restoration throughout the building exterior

✅ Filled a large hole in the back of the building

✅ Cut out dozens of old pipes inside the building

✅ Made the historic smokestack safe by removing roughly 75 feet, while saving the original bricks

✅ Held our FIRST EVENT at the Creamery in roughly 40 years — a Vendor Fair & B**r Garden

✅ Began working on grants and funding that could help make the full restoration possible

✅ Started saving those historic smokestack bricks for a future build

✅ Began asbestos and environmental testing so the restoration can be done correctly

✅ Got quotes for electrical, plumbing, the Boiler Room roof, windows, doors, floors, additional demolition, HVAC and more

✅ Began planning out the future kitchen and restrooms

✅ Grew this Facebook community to more than 10,500 followers! ❤️

✅ Welcomed hundreds of people back onto the property

✅ And most importantly… we’ve started bringing this building back into the community. ❤️

And we're still only on Day 47.

There is an unbelievable amount of work ahead of us. There will be setbacks, surprises and probably plenty of things we haven't even discovered yet.

But this building has already survived 124 years.

Our goal is to make sure it survives another 124 — filled again with people, laughter, food, drinks, celebrations and new memories.

The best part has been watching this become more than our project.

Former employees have come back and shared their memories. Families have told us stories passed down through generations. People have brought us old photographs and pieces of history. And thousands of you are following along as we uncover what this place used to be and imagine what it can become.

We aren't just restoring an old building.

We're bringing a piece of Norwalk history back to life. ❤️

And SHARE this with someone who loves seeing historic buildings saved instead of torn down.

Day 47… and we're just getting started.
