The Norwalk Campus Library will be closed on Friday, 6/19/26.

Juneteenth, also known as Emancipation Day or Freedom Day, is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated annually on June 19. It commemorates the end of slavery in the United States, specifically marking the day in 1865 when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to announce the freedom of the last enslaved African Americans.

To learn more about Juneteenth, please visit the Norwalk Campus Library when we reopen. A library staff member will be happy to help you find more information!
