The City of Norwalk Public Safety Department can assist you with services such as Citation Appeals, Citation Payments, Overnight Permits, and Recreational Vehicle Permits in Room 1 at Norwalk City Hall Monday through Thursday, from 8am to 6pm and alternating Fridays 8am to 5pm. Norwalk City Hall is located at 12700 Norwalk Blvd.

🚗🚨👮🏻‍♂️👍🏻Safe Driving Saves Lives. We heard you, Norwalk.

In response to residents’ concerns at a Neighborhood Watch meeting about speeding and drivers failing to stop at stop signs, Norwalk Sheriff’s motor deputies were deployed to the area to increase traffic enforcement.

During the operation, 8 citations were issued for traffic violations. We also painted the curbs red in no-stopping zones along Rosecrans and Liebacher to address illegal parking and improve traffic safety. We will continue to monitor the area to help keep our streets safe.

As temperatures stay well within the 90s the City of Norwalk Public Safety Department would like to remind residents of our two cooling centers located at The Norwalk Senior Center located at 14040 San Antonio Dr and the Norwalk Arts & Sports Complex located at 13000 Clarkdale Ave. Be sure to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.

🚨👮🏻‍♂️👍🏻Earlier today, Norwalk Public Safety Quadrant Officer Swanson visited St. Linus to check in on the church and school to see how the start to the new school year is going. He had the chance to speak with the church priest and school principal and address any concerns they were experiencing. During the brief visit, Officer Swanson was also able to help two individuals experiencing homelessness to get resources and assistance. Remember Norwalk, together we make a difference!
