Focus Areas:
Norwalk Mentor Program
School Based Health Centers
Children's Connection
Supportive Housing
Substance Abuse Resources CHILDREN'S CONNECTION: One of only seven nationally accredited Children's Advocacy Centers in Connecticut, Children's Connection coordinates public and private resources for children suffering from sexual and physical abuse and their families. The wrap-around, researc

h-based approach of our Multidisciplinary Team helps child victims heal and holds offenders accountable. MID-FAIRFIELD SUBSTANCE ABUSE COALITION: One of thirteen Regional Action Councils created by the State Legislature in 1989, and a member of the Connecticut Prevention Network, we support local initiatives around substance abuse prevention. Through collaboration, education, training, and advocacy, we serve the communities of Norwalk, Westport, Weston and Wilton. NORWALK MENTOR PROGRAM: The Norwalk Mentor Program, a partnership with Norwalk Public Schools, was the first school-based mentoring program in the country. We match students in grades K-12 with positive adult role models, and they meet weekly at school. Our unique approach has reaped wonderful benefits for both mentors and mentees, for over 30 years. APPLEBY SCHOOL BASED HEALTH CENTERS: We are the only facilities in Norwalk that provide free, on-site, school-based healthcare, and are licensed as outpatient clinics. We offer medical and/or behavioral healthcare to students in Norwalk's high schools and three middle schools, as well as community outreach and wellness programs.

40 SOUTH MAIN STREET SUPPORTIVE HOUSING: Consisting of 44 single occupancy units, 40 South Main Street provides residents who would otherwise be homeless with the dignity and responsibility of stable housing. For seventeen years, we have advanced the economic and community development of the South Norwalk neighborhood, contributing to its vitality and growth.

Stop #5: Stamford is showing out! 💙🌆

We had an incredible turnout at our latest stop. A massive thank you to the State’s Attorney’s Office, the Stamford Police Department, and the team at Stamford Dairy Queen for joining the mission!

Seeing the justice system, law enforcement, and local businesses all “Go Blue” together sends a powerful message: we are all responsible for keeping our children safe. 📸✨
