Recently, the Norwalk City Council adopted a revised ordinance dealing with bicycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, and other wheeled devices. A key provision of the revised ordinance requires that children under age 12 who are operating an electric wheeled device on public property must be directly supervised by someone 16 years of age or older.

School starts next week! Please pay extra attention while driving as school traffic increases.

🔹Be cautious of your surroundings. Yield to pedestrians and bicyclists.
🔹Never pass a school bus with it's stop arm activated, loading or unloading children.
🔹Do not block entrances to schools. Be sure to stay clear of fire lanes.
🔹Utilize the designated drop off and pick up locations as identified by school staff.
🔹Be patient!!!!
