It has been brought to our attention that the settings on our page are making people feel uncomfortable and left in the dark. We have settings in place to hide comments that contain profanity or unacceptable verbiage for a municipal page and this is why it does not show all the comments. We never intended on this and want to apologize for this. Going forward we have set our page to only allow likes and shares and this way if you want to comment on something it will show up on your personal page. Again we apologize and hope that everyone knows they can call City Hall with questions and concerns at any time and we will be happy to assist.

If you are a City of Norway cable, phone, or internet customer, you will likely receive you new equipment from Charter today, April 4th, in preparation for the transition to Charter.

The cutover of service will begin Sunday, April 5th, at 11:00 pm, and continue throughout the week in late evening to avoid any disruption to customers. Be prepared to see work on the utility poles around town around midnight.

If you have questions about your service, please contact Charter customer service at 833-899-1656. This number was set up for transitioning Norway customers.

With the city ending its service as a cable provider, we want to thank you for being a City of Norway cable customer.

The City Hall and the Department of Public Works buildings will be closed on Friday, April 3rd, for Good Friday.

Due to the extreme weather conditions, City Hall will be closed, Monday March 16th, 2026.

City crews will continue working to maintain city streets. Please keep vehicles off the streets so our plow trucks and police can operate safely and efficiently.

For the safety of all residents and city workers, and emergency responders, we ask that everyone do the best they can to stay home during the storm unless necessary.

We hope everyone stays safe.
