🌟 Exciting Weekend Alert! 🌟

I have the incredible opportunity to participate in the MRC Region 1 Clinical Skills Training weekend, facilitated by the Rhode Island Medical Reserve Corps. This weekend is all about networking and building essential skills in self-care and resiliency for leaders.

We are exploring strategies for volunteer recruitment and retention, learning about obtaining funding, and much more! It’s inspiring to connect with fellow Unit Leaders who are equally passionate about making a difference in our communities.

Feeling energized and ready to apply what I've learned! 💪💙

Older adults 55+, their families and caregivers, and agencies that serve and care for older adults, as well as individuals who work in emergency management both local, state, and federal are invited to attend, ask questions, and learn what they can do to mitigate the effects of unexpected disasters.
