It all began with an idea: how can we connect our students to the work being done on their future school?

Today, Stanton students had the opportunity to see, touch, and explore a variety of vehicles and equipment while learning about the important role each one plays in our community. From heavy construction machinery to utility and emergency response vehicles, students gained a firsthand look at the many careers that help build, maintain, and protect our city.

A special thank you to Norwich Public Utilities, City of Norwich Public Works, East Great Plain Volunteer Fire Company, and Downes Construction Company for taking the time to share your equipment, expertise, and passion with our students. Your partnership helped create a memorable and meaningful learning experience.

What a great way to bring learning to life while helping students connect with the exciting work taking place right in their own community!
