Hi readers!

I wanted to let you know about an unforgettable book that is now available in the LFL. Call Me American by Abdi Nor Iftin is the gripping memoir of Iftin's escape from the impossibly difficult realities of life as a Somali refugee to the quiet safety of suburban Maine. Iftin's story has been featured in BBC News, This American Life, and PRI's The World.

Three copies of the book are in the LFL, waiting to be read and shared again. Enjoy, and let it keep on giving!

Happy Norwood Day!

Thank you to everyone who has been using the LFL and keeping the the books circulating. I hope you've found some great stories in the process!

In the spirit of community engagement, I'd love to see some posts about books you've taken from the LFL and what interested you in that book. Or let us know about a book you donated to the LFL and why you wanted to share it.

One that I recently couldn't resist was There's a Monster at the End of This Book - a Sesame Street classic that my parents read to me when I was little. That one will never get old!

It's a beautiful day to visit the little free library! We've got some really great authors and titles in right now, like Dean Koontz, Jurassic Park, The Indian on the Cupboard. We could also use some more younger children's books if you have any. Thanks to everyone for your support and engagement!
