July's event was so fun we're doing it again in Two Weeks -- Friday, Sept. 11 (new moon).
Thank you Hailey (HBruPhoto) for turning the Milky Way photo you took then into the flyer for the upcoming.
We'll provide glow sticks (to mark the baskets) and disc LEDs if you don't have one. Telescopes and light refreshments, and a little night sky viewing with NDSA. Weather permitting.

We're still reeling from the great show this crew put on at Music on the Mesa in Norwood on 8/8 but are also reeling from the loss of Dolly Parton. Two years ago on April Fools Day, MotM even announced that she'd be playing in Norwood. Here The Burroughs cover one of the many favorite Dolly songs ever ... Rest in harmony, we'll always love you.

An amazing evening in the Yard at The Livery tonight flintknapping with Rock Beaver (aka Jay Padgett)! We learned about the history, the science, the challenges, and the danger of sharp objects, and then dove in. The sound of obsidian flakes dropping to the tarps, the focus it requires, the meditative vibe, all reasons to keep doing this addictive craft. There will be more Knapping Club meetings in the Yard in the future, keep an eye out for posts by Rock Beaver or NPRD.
