📬Reminder: New water bills were mailed today (Tuesday), August 25th!

🏛️Notasulga Town Hall will be CLOSED, Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

🗑️🚛Trash pickup schedule the week of Labor Day will be delayed one day. Garbage will be picked up Saturday, September 12th. Have garbage cans out Friday.

💳Past due bills must be paid in the office or online by Wednesday,September 9th at 12 PM or left in drop box.

🚫To avoid disconnection on Thursday, September 10th, payments need to be made in the office or online.

At Tuesday's, August 17th, Regular Council Meeting (held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.), representatives of Macon M.E.A.N.S. for Cancer Support presented an invitation for the Town of Notasulga and other local municipalities to participate in the 2026 "Riding for the Blue" Prostate Cancer Awareness Campaign during the month of September. The organization is encouraging municipalities to support the campaign by participating in "Paint the Town Blue" activities, observing "Blue Fridays," and joining the "Ride for the Blue Challenge." The campaign also seeks to raise awareness about prostate cancer and encourage eligible men to register for free PSA screenings that will be offered during the Prostate Cancer Awareness Health Fair, Car & Bike Show on September 26, 2026, in Shorter, Alabama.

⚠️ UPDATE: Please be advised of the current bridge status on AL Hwy 81 within the Notasulga corporate limits. The SR-81 bridge over the railroad in Notasulga will remain closed again tonight, Aug. 19th,due to ongoing maintenance.

Daytime-only closures are anticipated to resume tomorrow, Aug. 20th. Please expect delays and seek alternate routes.

The SR-81 bridge in town (Tuskegee St.) will remain closed tonight (August 18th) due to ongoing maintenance.

Beginning Monday, the SR-81 (Tuskegee Street) bridge over the railroad in Notasulga will close daily from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for repairs. A signed detour will be in place.
