It was a record setting year for the Russell Fire Department. We completed our 5 year Strategic Plan through the Ohio Fire Chief's Association, continued our public education with West Geauga Schools and Laurel School, increased our outreach through social media and in person engagements, continued to install residential Knox Boxes, promoted 4 new Lieutenants, hosted regional trainings and classes with state and national speakers and instructors, and responded to the highest number of calls in department history. We look forward to what 2026 has in store for us as we continue to live out our Mission, Vision, and Core Values that guide us to delivering the best possible services to Russell Township and our visitors.
