A big thank you to the Ohio Fire Academy for bringing their Fire Behavior Lab (Flashover) Trailer and expertise to Russell Township Fire Department for a regional training event.

After a classroom session covering fire behavior, building construction, hose stream mechanics, and ventilation tactics, firefighters from Russell, Pepper Pike, Kirtland, Munson, and Newbury had the opportunity to experience fire behavior first hand in a safe, controlled environment.

Training like this helps our crews make safer, more effective decisions on the fireground and better serve our communities. 🔥
