🐦✨ A Little Creativity Took Flight at Our Community! ✨🐦

On Wednesday, April 22nd, Lauren hosted a delightful Felted Wool Needle Baby Bird making class—and our residents truly spread their creative wings!

This hands-on activity was a wonderful opportunity to try something new, connect with neighbors, and enjoy a little artistic fun together. Each resident crafted their own unique baby bird, complete with a cozy little nest provided. 🧶💛

We invite you to take a stroll around the community and spot these adorable new feathered friends perched along ledges and tucked into their nests. No two birds are alike—each one has its own special personality, just like the wonderful residents who made them!

Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to stay curious, creative, and connected. 💫

We had a lovely time celebrating spring at our Spring Tea this past Friday, April 3rd! 🌸🫖

With the City of Novi closed to observe Good Friday, it was the perfect opportunity for our residents to slow down, relax, and enjoy a charming afternoon together. Guests indulged in a delightful spread of tea sandwiches, finger desserts, and, of course, a variety of teas—everything you’d hope for at a classic spring gathering.

The room was filled with laughter, conversation, and the simple joy of community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special!

We had such a wonderful time at our Bob Ross Painting Party on March 17th! 🎨🌲

A huge thank you to Lauren for hosting such a fun, relaxing, and creative experience for our residents. From “happy little clouds” to beautiful landscapes, everyone brought their own unique masterpiece to life!

It was so special to see neighbors laughing, socializing, and enjoying the joy of painting together. Events like these are what make our community feel like home 💚

✂️🎨 Collage Craft Fun! 🎨✂️

Last week our residents enjoyed a wonderful collage craft activity led by our amazing Activities Coordinator, Lauren. From cutting and layering to sharing stories and creativity, it was a great afternoon filled with laughter, focus, and artistic expression.

We are grateful to the Team that does snow removal around our community - This Michigan winter has sure been keeping our guys busy!

As a reminder, stay safe and inside when you can - especially when the temps are too cold for the salt to work properly❄️

Don't forget, you can keep active indoors by joining our Community Walking Group on which meets at the Front Desk on Mondays and Fridays from 10:00am-10:30am for some light stretching and exercise. 💪

The team has been working hard all week to keep the roads safe and clear! Just a heads-up: with sub-zero temps moving in, road salt actually stops working. This means we’ll be relying entirely on plows to handle any new snow over the next few days.

If you have to be out and about, please drive extra carefully, bundle up tight, and stay safe out there!

✨ Resident Craft Show Success! ✨
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our Resident Craft Show today! Our talented residents showcased an amazing variety of handmade crafts, gifts, and décor, and it was wonderful to see so many people supporting their creativity.

The lobby was filled with smiles, conversation, and plenty of holiday spirit, plus a warm cup of hot cocoa made it even sweeter. ☕💛

We’re so proud of our residents and grateful to all who came out to make the event special. Enjoy a few highlights from the day!
