The 2026 Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) covering calendar year 2025 from the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (OKDEQ) analyzing local drinking water quality is now available for all customers of the Nowata Municipal Authority-OK1021503.

Please use the OKDEQ link above or in the comments to access the CCR. Utility customers will also receive a letter in the mail on how to access the CCR.

City Hall will be closed today, Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. City Hall will reopen and resume normal operations tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26th at 8:30 am.

All city utility accounts and city fines can be paid online while City Hall is closed, visit https://dmc.me/jxnk6l to learn more.

Utility customers can still call 918-273-3532 to report a water main break or other water emergencies. For all non-water utility emergencies, please call, 9-1-1.

As pool season arrives across Ironmen Country, the City of Nowata would like to remind it utility customers that it does offer the ability for customers to receive a one-time annual pool adjustment credit.

Utility customers must complete the official Pool Adjustment Request Form to apply for the potential credit to their utility account. Any incomplete forms will not be considered for the adjustment.

Here are the key details and rules about the City of Nowata's pool adjustment program:

⭐Pool permit may be required.
⭐Adjustment is available no more than once annually.
⭐Adjustment is available only for wastewater (sewer) portion of bill.
⭐Request Form must be complete and received within 30 business days of the pool fill.
⭐All customers requesting a billing adjustment in accordance with these guidelines are required to pay their bill in full or make payment arrangements while this form is being processed.
⭐If approved, please allow two (2) Full billing cycles for a credit to be issued.

UPDATE: The water leak is fixed. It is currently building pressure back up in the lines.

The public works department are currently working on a water leak. So you may have little to no water pressure. We will update as soon as we can.

The City of Nowata has partnered with Waste Connections in Bartlesville to offer monthly bulky waste pickup for citizens in our community. The cost is $10.00 per item pickup.

Citizens must contact City Hall directly by phone, 918-273-3538, to schedule their pickup by Waste Connections.

Below are the program requirements and restrictions for monthly bulky waste pickup in Nowata, Oklahoma.

⭐Program Requirements⭐
1⃣Items must be within 2 feet of the curb.
2⃣Items should be set at least 5 feet from poly-carts, mailboxes, gas meters, cars, shrubs, or anything else that could interfere with the mechanical lifting arm.
3⃣For the same reason, items should be set at least 10 feet away from utility poles, to prevent contact with overhead power lines.
4⃣Waste Connections will pick up as much as 3 cubic yards of bulky waste

- Large and small household appliances
- Furniture
- Carpets (4ft in length)
- Large cardboard boxes (broken down and tied into tight bundles)
- Mattresses - *must be wrapped*
- Trees and limbs (4ft length bundles)
