Elias Floyd has been found safe. The Newton County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the 7-year-old, who went missing at 1 p.m. on December 2, 2025, from Newton County, Georgia, was located the same day at 10:30 p.m.

A BOLO was immediately issued, and authorities grew increasingly worried for his safety as temperatures were expected to fall below 30°F overnight. The boy also had no shoes on. The Georgia State Patrol assisted in the search using a helicopter, and the boy was found safe.
