A new school year is more than a fresh start—it’s a chance to move forward together.
Today, Dr. LRG brought the NPS community together for Superintendent’s Conference Day to reconnect, recharge and get RedHawk ready for the 2026–27 school year.
Building on last year’s Be Real. Be Bold. Be NPS., this year we’re taking it one step further: BE REAL. BE BOLD. BELONG.
During our interactive school opening, we shared our stories, learned more about one another and grew closer as a district. But belonging is about more than seeing each other, it’s about seeing our students, hearing their voices and the difference we make in their lives.
Our surprise keynote speaker, middle school student Brianna P., reinforced that message in a big way. She brought down the house with her powerful address, earning a well-deserved standing ovation. Her words highlighted the lasting impact educators have on students and celebrated the many things that make NPS such a unique, inclusive and forward-thinking place to learn and grow.
Because belonging is something we create through our actions, our relationships and the way we show up for one another. It’s about having each other’s backs, rooting for one another, advocating for what’s right and creating a place where everyone feels recognized, supported and valued.
Looking ahead. Setting our sights high. Rising together, with courage, compassion and community.
