LaTonya Thomas for the Community - O'Fallon City Council - Ward 5

LaTonya Thomas for the Community - O'Fallon City Council - Ward 5 I'm a leader in the community, the daughter of a law enforcement officer and I care about our city!

An update on Goodwood Oโ€™Fallon! Weโ€™re working hard at renovating this historic 160+ year old building but with that comes unforeseen challenges. We appreciate your patience as we take our time to make sure every detail is to our standards. Additionally, due to the recent hailstorm we have incurred some damages to the roof which we are working diligently to repair.

Regardless of the delays, we have a great management team in place who are all excited to bring something new and restored to this community. We will post updates on the opening date as they come. Thank you again for your excitement and patience - cheers ๐Ÿป

Thank you for all the support during this campaign. Thank you to every resident that took a sign, attended my meet and greets and shook my hand at the polls! Thank you for all the votes, it means so much to me to have support in this community!
While I didn't win the seat, I had the opportunity to meet and talk with many of the residents in the area.
I made new friendships that I'm so blessed to have.
My commitment to this community will not stop just because I don't hold that seat.
I'll continue making a difference as before but with the added knowledge of what residents are concerned about.
I've learned many lessons on this journey that I won't soon forget.
Thank you again to everyone! I hope you'll continue to follow, because you never know what's coming up next!

April 4th is the Municipal election. I'm asking you to show up and vote LaTonya L. Thomas for City Council - Ward 5.

The issues that are voted on for the City of O'Fallon - Government by every Council member are non partisan issues.

Your streets being fixed, the safety of our neighborhoods, the livelihood of the city, the Revitalization of areas in our town, the parks and recreation centers, the support of the O'Fallon Missouri Police Department, and other First responders, Homeownership, help for our Seniors and Veterans, the list goes on...
None of these issues have anything to do with a party affiliation.

When decisions are made based on who stands on what end, division occurs and no decision can be properly made.

Do you agree? Vote LaTonya L. Thomas on April 4th.

I stand for what makes sense. I stand for the health of our city and economic growth. I stand for the safety of our neighborhoods. I stand with the men and women who put their lives on the line everyday to save ours. I stand for the leaders who want to preserve values and lead us forward. I stand for family values. I stand for my family and your family. I stand for liberty, I stand for the American dream. I stand on the values and principles of honesty, integrity, compassion, unity, truth and faithfulness.

I remember my Dad working a secondary shift at Ted Drewes in South St. Louis. (After policing during the day)

On Fridays, he'd bring home Ted Drewes ice cream and Imo's pizza!

Who would love to see a Ted Drewes in O'Fallon?

All good things lead to Ted Drewes! ๐Ÿฆ๐ŸŒˆโ˜”๏ธ

Venus Fly traps will soon be found in Ofallon parks! Thank you to our O'Fallon Landscaping department!

๐ŸŒฑ Introducing the newest plant species to the O'Fallon greenhouse, the Venus Fly Trap. Also known by its scientific name Dionaea muscipula, these plants will soon be found in each of O'Fallon's parks. The O'Fallon Landscape Division's hope is that the Venus Fly Trap will help maintain those pesky flies in our parks, thus further improving your park experience.

Tonight I attended the City wide HOA meeting at the O'Fallon City Hall and learned so much!
There is an organization that helps to educate Home Owner Associations and management companies on many topics. They are THE resource for HOA's. I also learned about the current initiatives by O'Fallon Missouri Police Department to help keep our neighborhoods safe. There was a ton of information presented and I love learning so I took lots of notes!! I'll be sharing some information I've gathered after condensing it.

I'm serious when I say I want to make sure our HOA's are functioning in health. One way to do that is to educate myself on this topic.

I want what's best for my residents and I'll do what I need to gain knowledge and understanding to get the job done efficiently.

Vote LaTonya L.Thomas on April 4th!
