The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force Program is a national network of 61 coordinated task forces representing over 3,500 federal, state and local law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies. These agencies are engaged in both proactive and reactive investigations, forensic examinations and criminal prosecutions. The Program helps state and local law enforcement agencies develop an
effective response to technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and Internet crimes against children. This help encompasses forensic and investigative components, training and technical assistance, victim services, and community education. Charles County Police Department's Cyber Crime Task Force since 2011 and is comprised of 13 regional task forces encompassing the State of Missouri. All together, over 150 affiliate law enforcement agencies work with MO ICAC to ensure that all reported cases of online child exploitation are addressed by the appropriate local jurisdictions. The Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children (MO ICAC) Task Force is funded by the United States Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
