Homestead Days - Fiber Arts
Sunday, September from Noon to 3 p.m.
Enjoy guided tours of the historic Heald Home and Fort while learning about everyday skills that supported life on the homestead. Fiber arts were essential to creating clothing, linens, and household goods for early settlers. Guests can view demonstrations of traditional fiber arts such as knitting, sewing, cross stitching, and loom weaving, while also getting a hands-on experience in fiber arts.
Fall Into the Arts
Sunday, September 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Immerse yourself in a vibrant celebration of art at our annual Fall into the Arts festival! Artists and crafters will be on-hand to exhibit and sell their work. Also featured are craft beverages, artisan food vendors, live music, and an incredible kids activity tent!
Fall Leaf Ghosts Workshop
Saturday, October 17 from 3 to 5 p.m.
Turn fallen autumn leaves into spooky Halloween ghosts using a bit of paint, some glue, and paper cut-outs! Participants will head outdoors to forage for their perfect leaves before transforming their finds into ghostly creations. Registration includes all supplies, a snack, and is perfect for children age 5 to 8.
Ink Painting Workshop
Saturday, October 24 from 3 to 5 p.m.
Discover the art of fluid expression and learn how to create stunning depth in this hands-on workshop led by local artist Annie Campbell. A fan favorite, this class will include guidance to help you craft your very own unique landscape. Whether you're a beginner or a master artist, Annie will help you craft your next masterpiece!
