Labor Day Route Changes: Monday’s residential routes will be run on Tuesday, September 8th. We will begin Monday routes on Tuesday morning, and then do as much as possible of the Tuesday routes. We will finish Tuesday routes on Wednesday morning if necessary, and then we will do Wednesday routes. The office will be closed for Labor Day, Monday September 7th.

O'Kean Residents....The USDA Food Distribution is Wednesday , September 2,2026. If you are interested in us picking up your distribution to bring to O'Kean for you and haven't filled out an application, please contact me at (870) 758-3222. I have applications available to get this set up for you and the income limits. This is a very good program and we want to make sure it is easily available for our O'Kean Residents. If you have already filled out an application, we will be bringing you your distribution Wednesday.

Attached is the June 15, 2026, Regular Town Council meeting agenda. The O'Kean Town Council will meet at the O'Kean Community Center /Town Hall (224 Main St.) on June 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

During the regular Meeting there will be a public meeting for a Fun Park Grant. The purpose of this part of the meeting is to identify the potential of park needs. Following the identification process, Town officials will select those priorities and submit a FUN Park grant application to the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism Outdoor Recreation Grants Program.

The public is encouraged to attend.

Memorial Day Route Changes: Monday’s residential routes will be run on Tuesday, May 26th. We will begin Monday routes on Tuesday morning and then do as much as possible of the Tuesday routes. We will finish Tuesday routes on Wednesday morning if necessary, and then we will do Wednesday routes. We will be closed for Memorial Day, Monday May 25th.
