Join the Oak Bluffs Library for some great Juneteenth activities! We will be at Harbor Fest from 10am - 1pm. Inside the library we will be doing an adult crafting patch craft from 11am - 12pm and a kids craft from 11am - 2pm. Come hang out with us!!

Makers Space Grand Opening!!

Come check out our brand new Makers Space! Thanks to the generous support from the Slough Farm Support Fund, we gave our space a fun makeover. We've got new machines, new programs, and so much more room for activities!

SPACE STILL AVAILABLE!!
Janell Burley Hofmann Janell, author of iRules, international speaker, facilitator and consultant, and mother of 5 will be attending virtually to answer your parenting tech questions. Janell is a Licensed Social Worker who has facilitated groups for nearly a decade. Join us for a welcoming, supportive conversation where we will learn from Janell and each other. This conversation is for parents and caregivers of children 8-15 years old. Our hope is that you leave feeling empowered to take action in ways that work for your family.

Childcare and dinner will be provided. Pre-registration required. This parent support group is a collaboration between Martha's Vineyard Youth Task Force and Oak Bluffs Public Library.

Library Friends Book Drive
Saturday, June 6th 11:00am – 2:00pm
Donate your used books to the LFOB Book Drive!
- Children's Books are wanted!
Books must be in good to excellent condition –odor-free and without markings or torn pages.
We are looking for adult, young adult, and children’s books, both fiction and non-fiction.
Books must be published within the past five years, with the exception that medical and scientific books and travel guides cannot be more than three years old.
Donations are limited to 60 books per donor, again due to our storage limitations.

October 16, 1934 - August 26, 2025
Renee’s artwork is distinctive and lives in homes on and off the island. Her paintings, illustrations, monoprints and notecards are contemporary and primitive, reflecting an Oak Bluffs cottage style.
