I was glad to see the Telecom Revolution included as one of those key milestones. Telecom was never only about telephones or technology. It was about access, inclusion, empowerment, and giving ordinary citizens — especially in rural India — a voice in the national conversation.

Democracy depends on institutions, data, education, communication, diversity, rights, and public systems that reach the last citizen. These foundations must be protected, strengthened, and renewed for future generations.
