Thank you to DMMC Vice-President Pileski for his continued advocacy representing our extraordinary membership.

I want to thank these suburban leaders for taking the time to testify yesterday at the Senate Transportation Committee hearing on the future of public transit in the region. All four testified on the importance of the suburbs having an equal voice in decision-making for public transit in IL. Shown here (L-R) are: Scott Henning, Deputy Director of the McHenry County Division of Transportation, Tom Rickert, Deputy Director of the Kane County Division of Transportation, John Loeper, Chief Transportation Planner for DuPage County, and Village of Roselle Mayor David Pileski, Vice President of the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference.

The joint DuPage County Board/DMMC Intergovernmental Committee is such a valuable use of an evening! Seeing the engagement of our mayors and county board members, always looking for ways to make their communities/districts stronger, is something to behold.
