Last call to purchase rubber ducks for the Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County's annual Duck Race taking place on Saturday, Aug. 1 at 9:45 a.m. at Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve, located at 3609 Spring Road in Oak Brook. Duck sales will end on July 31 at noon!

Sponsor a rubber duck for a chance to win a $500 prize. Then, join fellow supporters on race day at 9:30 a.m. at the flat bridge (east of the Fullersburg Woods Nature Education Center) to cheer on the ducks as they race along Salt Creek.

Ducks are $15 each, five for $60, or 10 for $100. Participants must be 18 or older to purchase a duck.

Each duck will be randomly assigned a number and emailed to participants after sales close. (You don’t need to be present to win, but cheering from the bridge is half the fun!)

Every duck purchased helps to protect native wildlife and restore natural areas in DuPage forest preserves. Your support helps to ensure these precious places — and the creatures that call them home — continue to thrive.
