The Colorado Type 3 Incident Management Team assumed management of the fire at 8:00 pm last night. The Team is working closely with local and regional resources, who remain actively engaged in suppression efforts.

Routt Fire Academy Graduates Inaugural Class

The Routt Fire Academy will host its inaugural graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 27, formally recognizing seven firefighter recruits who have successfully completed the academy's first regional training program and are joining fire departments throughout Routt County.

The graduates will serve with Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue, North Routt Fire Protection District, West Routt Fire Protection District, and Oak Creek Fire Rescue. The ceremony will begin at 10 am on Saturday, June 27, at Centennial Hall, 124 10th Street. https://tinyurl.com/49s7bkse
