03/31/2023

Oak Forest is under this Tornado Watch until 10:00 PM CDT. A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for a tornado to develop.

Today is a critical weather day with the potential for two waves of storms. If you have any events occurring today, please keep an eye on the weather. These storms are forecast to move 60-70 MPH in their travels. A storm that is a county away is actually "close" due to the speed.

There is a Tornado Watch in effect until 10 PM CDT for parts southern Wisconsin, northeast Illinois, and northwest Indiana. A few tornadoes (some intense) as well as scattered large hail and damaging winds are expected this afternoon into evening.

03/31/2023

A major severe weather outbreak is expected today from the Midwest to the Mid-South. The greatest risk for strong, long-track (potentially violent) tornadoes exists across southeast Iowa, western Illinois & far northeast Missouri as well as portions of eastern Arkansas, northern Mississippi, & southwest Tennessee.
