After 11 weeks of Advanced EMT training, we are happy to congratulate Firefighter Carlson on passing the NREMT. This course consisted of 63 hours of lectures, 52 hours of labs, 48 hours of emergency room clinicals, and 80 hours of EMS Clinicals. Even with a busy school and work schedule, Carlson managed to find time to train and respond to emergencies.

Tonight, members went over to Valor Hall to practice simulating pulling up to a structure fire, establishing a water source from the hydrant, and pulling and advancing hose lines. This is great training for our newer members, and helps to keep the skills of our seasoned members sharp.
