Let us all remember and honor our fallen brothers and sisters in arms. Let us also not forget that joyful celebrations of their lives, reverence of their passing, sadness for our collective loss, and more complex emotions are ok to feel all at once. Let us not sit in a dark corner with a bottle of whiskey today but instead honor them whether that is a gathering at your local Legion, a BBQ with family, or a day on the lake.

Brothers and Sisters:

Soldiers, we will see you on the high ground
Sailors, fair winds and following seas
Marines, marines never die; they just go to heaven and regroup
Airmen, blue skies and tailwinds

Rest easy. We have the watch.

PVC's mission of Veteran homelessness prevention, increased financial stability, and food security are integral parts of su***de prevention and lines up perfectly with the American Legion mission. We are beyond proud to be a part of supporting them.

Keep your eyes peeled for the third annual Be The One ride later this year and come out to support whether you ride or not.

The Home Run Ride was a great success despite the liquid sunshine outside making us cut it a tad short. We raised some good money for Post 233 Legion Baseball and this father/son duo won both the Least Runs and Most Runs prize!

This toast wasn’t born in comfort. It came from mess halls, dusty bars, and quiet reunions spoken by service members who had been through something together and watched their numbers thin with time.

It's not about being better than anyone else.
It's about survival, memory, and responsibility.
About honoring those who didn’t make it home, and those who didn’t make it to today.

To those who still show up.
To those who remember why we serve.
To those who ride for something bigger than themselves—community, honor, and the ones who can’t anymore.

Raise a glass to the Riders, the Legionnaires, the Auxiliary, the Sons, the families, and the fallen.

We carry it forward. Riders Lead the Way!

Happy New Year, Kool Cats & Dolls! Can you dig it? It’s time to shake, rattle, and roll at the American Legion Post 233! We’re kicking off the year with a Rockin' Good Time and we want to see you on the dance floor.

​We’ll be spinning Oldies from the 1940s through the 1960s all night long. Era attire (poodle skirts, leather jackets, and saddle shoes) is highly encouraged but optional!

​Admission:
FREE entry! (Donations are greatly appreciated and all proceeds benefit American Legion Post 233).
